Mariely Burgess is a bilingual, experienced professional who has always been passionate about helping others and prides herself on providing excellent customer service.  Ms. Burgess was born and raised in Puerto Rico.  In 1991 she graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Sociology.  She continued her post graduate studies and in 1993 she graduated Summa Cum Laude obtaining a Masters degree with a major in Labor Relations.  That same year she relocated to New Jersey.  In March of 1994, she joined the Office of Economic Development of Puerto Rico in New York City.  She worked in that office for 4 years in the Personnel Department.  In 1997, Ms. Burgess and her husband moved to Arizona looking for a better quality of life.   Since then, Ms. Burgess  has worked in various organizations.  She has held the title of Benefits Administrator, Employee Relations Manager and Human Resources Manager.

In her last job, she was assigned the comprehensive responsibility of working directly with Senior Management to carry out all aspects of a Reduction in Force (RIF).  As a result of her concern for those employees affected by the RIF, she advised Management to provide benefits to those employees including on-site Job Fairs with other employers, seminars and different trainings to assist the employees in obtaining new jobs.  She also assisted the employees in many other areas which helped them during this difficult time. 

Ms. Burgess chose to put her professional career on hold for several years to dedicate herself to raising her children.  In order to satisfy her need to be with customers, she has worked part-time in sales over the past few years and has immensely enjoyed the day to day interaction with her customers.  Today, both of her children are in school full time and Ms. Burgess has decided to share her education, experience, bilingual skills and passion for helping others through Superlative Concierge Services.
